Justice @ Mercy
08 February 2019Justice @ Mercy is a committee who work to serve and help others. Charlotte Refalo and Ryan Boland will head up the committee this year and are keen to start helping. Some of the projects Justice @ Mercy have been involved in are Days For Girls, Stella Maris, Dignity Bags, Beach Clean Up, Tree Planting, Breast Cushions and Birthing Kits.
Justice @ Mercy is a fun way to give service by helping others who are less fortunate than ourselves. They meet most Wednesdays afternoons from 3.15pm to 4.30pm and are guided by the Justice Coordinator Helen Patroni.
After School Tutoring
07 February 2019Did you know students can get free tutoring after school in three important areas of education? Here are the details:
- Math: Mondays 3.00pm to 4.00pm in Room D04
- Science: Tuesdays 3.00pm to 4.00pm in Room S02
- English: Wednesdays 3.00pm to 4.00pm in the library
All students are welcome, so take advantage of the extra learning opportunity.
Sports Awards Night

The Mercy College Sports Awards night was held on Friday November 16. The night gives the Mercy College community an opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding sporting achievements of our students in 2018. Each of the 71 Mercy College sporting teams were recognised with Best and Fairest, Player’s Player and Most Improved Awards distributed for each team.
Congratulations to our Major Award winners for 2018:

- Sportswoman of the Year – Casey Manzelmann
- Sportsman of the Year – William Bella

Mercy College celebrated Harmony Day on Wednesday 21 March. The College was a sea of orange in support of Australia’s cultural diversity. Glennon Gardens was host to the Harmony Day festival at lunchtime. Students could sample foods from around the globe including curry, yaki soba, snails and cannoli. Entertainment was provided by the Japanese drumming group - Okinawa Eisa.
